Coming from a music and fine arts background, it was while living in Sydney that I translated my interest in cooking into my career. It was here too that the idea for Scoff germinated. Returning home to put my menus and skills into Metropolis, it was great to receive national recognition. Selling one cafe and opening another, I soon got a little bored with cafe counter food. Scoff represents my food philosophy of simple, tasty and natural cooking. Not too fussy about ornate and overly presented food, its all about the flavours - best achieved through doing the basics right - the right ingredients, the right temperatures and a sharp knife.
